Responsibilities and Qualifications

What are the responsibilities and qualifications for the role?

  • All BDC Agents must maintain product knowledge certifiation and be able to articulate thorough knowledge and understanding of products
  • Must meet all daily and monthly performance goals; phone up percentages, appointments set percentages, show and sold percentages
  • Must be able and willing to make a high volume amount of calls a day
  • Contacting and communicating with customers to identify automotive needs
  • Follow all CDZ processes and procedures high frequency of contact with customers
  • Thorough documentation of all contacts within the CRM
  • Complete ILM (Internet Lead Management) work plans on a daily basis
  • Dedicate at least 3 hours of uninterrupted time each day to follow up on your own prospects
  • Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
  • Use scripts to collect allpertinient customer information and document in the CRM accordingly 
  • All appointments must be entered into the ILM and Elead
  • Agents must adhere to Asbury phone scripts
  • Must be comfortable role playing in front of team members during training
  • Meet daily check out requirements at time of Daily Check Out with Management Team
  • Excellent customer service skills & motivation to be successful
  • Be able to create and maintain customer relationships
  • High volume calls, ranging from 100-200 outbound calls per day and 50+emails each day.
  • Able to work 40 hour weekly schedule ranging from 8am-8pm Monday through Saturday, and some Sundays from 12-5pm
  • Keeping in mind with the developing nature of this department and onboarding new stores, these hours can and will be subject to change
  • Must arrive on time and be prompt to all shifts. Must remember to clock in and out for shifts and all breaks
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for all scheduled working hours

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer & phone skills (ADP, Outlook, Excel)
  • Minimum typing 35-40 words per minute at minimum
  • Experience using CRM systems to track calls to customers preferred
  • Prior financial services, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or BDC experience preferred
  • Appointment setting experience a plus
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to multi-task under pressure
  • Various language proficiency is always a plus
  • Team player
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and MVR within company policy requirements
  • Self-Starter, manages time and conditions
  • Conducts themselves professionally at all times and works well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment
