    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The Mechanic is responsible for completing safety checks of all assigned vehicles. The Mechanic will also complete mechanical work for insurance purposes and up-sell mechanical needs to the customer. The Mechanic plays a key role in delivering on Courtesy's Automotive Collision promise of speed, quality and customer satisfaction.

     

    • Safety checks of all customer vehicles
    • Completing mechanical work required by Insurance companies.
    • Selling services to customers
    • Possible body work: small bumper replacements, dash replacements, R & I of interiors on hail repairs and wind noise, water leak issues.
    • Dealership background preferred.
    • Ability to diagnose check engine and air bag problems
    • Experience with alignment and suspension work, as well as air bag installation.
    • Knowledge of manufacturers’ repair processes & adherence to Courtesy's Automotive Collision’s technical repair processes.
    • Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in order to drive any customer or company vehicle.
    • Auto Body VO-Tech certificate preferred.
    • Predictable and reliable attendance required.
    • Must be able to pass preemployment screening (background and drug)
