    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    This position is responsible for the statement reconciliation process for Asbury’s national vendors. The function is to ensure complete and accurate statement reconciliation, low invoice aging and outstanding invoice follow up. The National Vendor Analyst will support the dealerships and the vendors with questions and issue resolution. They will also help enforce AP policies and procedures; review internal controls and support organization initiatives to meet the business and operational goals.

    • Organize month end reports and meet closing deadlines
    • Multitask between various systems and navigate quickly and accurately
    • Partner with stores for physical inventories
    • Responsible for maintaining low aging on reconciling items
    • Responsible for continuous assessment and determination of appropriate processes, policies and procedures and recommends changes for improvement
    • Promotes cross functional collaboration and accountability
    • Ensures Accounts Payable control and compliance to SOX & Accounts Payable Policies & Procedures
    • Perform month end close duties relating to DSS Accounts Payable as well as other reporting requirements
    • Intermediate – High Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Office
    • Strong reconciliation skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
    • Customer support and resolution oriented
    • Solid organizational skills
    • Invoice coding and research
    • Statement reconciliation
    • AP Resolution – respond timely to vendor inquiry and requests
    • Knowledge of electronic invoice routing and approval solutions highly preferred
    • Knowledge of help desk ticketing solutions preferred
    • Previous customer service experience required
    • Two year degree is preferred but not required.
    • Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable and invoice processing experience required
    • Must be at least eighteen years of age
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens( background and drug test)
