    Asbury is currently seeking qualified candidates for an AP Vendor Invoice Processor!


    The Accounts Payable Vendor Invoice Processor will be responsible for processing all vendor payable invoices for the store assigned to them. In additon to processing, they will support the dealerships with questions and issue resolution.

    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Essential Requirements

    • Proficient in Accounts Payable and invoice processing
    • A basic understanding of General Accounting Principles
    • Mid level Microsoft Office Suite skills, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Strong attention to detail skills
    • Solid organizational skills
    • Ability to follow up on open items and resolve to completion.
    • Excellent verbal & electronic communication skills



    • Retrieve DSC, Facility management, and other related invoices from incoming email boxes, Microsoft Outlook public folders, paper mail, faxes, etc.
    • Review invoices received for proper approval and GL coding, code as necessary
    • Process invoices in the DMS or through automated software program(s) for posting and payment within the current service level agreement
    • Monitor exception queues to be certain issues are resolved within the current SLA
    • Process and post all wire transfer advices within the SLA
    • Accept vendor and customer inquiries and concerns and resolve them within the current SLA
    • Assist other processors with questions, issue resolution and proper process
    • Assist with routing of On Demand Checks
    • Assist with gathering and entering vendor information into DMS when necessary
    • Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices requested and paid within next cycle
    • Assist with “Request to Spend” processing on an as needed basis, full cross training to be expected.
    • Attend meetings and training seminars related to accounts payable improvements, processes, changes, etc.


     Education and Experience

    • Two year degree is preferred but not required
    • Prior accounts payable experience
    • Knowledge of accounts  payable invoice ECM routing and approval solutions
