    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    The Product Genius will perform outstanding vehicle deliveries, ensuring that customers begin their ownership experience with full knowledge of their vehicle's operation.  A special emphasis will need to be placed on properly educating customers and ensuring that they have a strong level of comfort with the operation of their vehicle.

     

    The Product Genius is not just an expert on vehicle technologies, but also an expert on delivering an outstanding customer experience!  During your day you will be a teacher, walking encyclopedia, and a customer experience specialist that turns problems into solutions and questions into answers.  Interaction with customers goes beyond mere satisfaction; the BMW Genius must delight every customer, every time.

     

    • Ensure that vehicles have met all pre-delivery checklist requirements
    • Program personalized settings prior to customer delivery
    • Evaluate customer knowledge and priorities to personalize each delivery
    • Explain and demonstrate vehicle features and technologies, focusing on customer comfort level and retention
    • Follow up with customers within one to two weeks after delivery to answer questions or conduct a second delivery to teach additional feature operations
    • Resolve customer inquiries for vehicle technology issues
    • Assist customers with questions at the service drive
    • Visit customer lounge to introduce Product Concierge services and share valuable vehicle technology insights
    • Answer product questions via telephone calls or customer walk-ins
    • Assist the sales and service staff on how to properly explain technologies and demonstrate them to a customer
    • Troubleshoot vehicle technology features
    • Automotive experience or enthusiasts preferred
    • Advanced communication skills and the ability to demonstrate products
    • Proficient in utilizing modern technology; prior work history with technology recommended
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred
    • Must be at least eighteen years of age
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
