Responsibilities and Qualifications

The purpose of the Sales Assistant/Porter is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. This position will assist the Sales Consultant in the sales process by performing tasks essential to producing results while not actually closing the sales.

  • Must be able to drive and operate vehicle
  • Answer Sales Consultant’s incoming calls
  • Greet Sales Consultant’s clients when necessary
  • Assist with appraisal of trade-ins
  • Know and utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Know and utilize Auto Alert to prospect for opportunities within Sales Consultant’s client base
  • Pull cars from inventory to assist Sales Consultant
  • Wipe down cars when necessary
  • Conduct deliveries
  • Fill deliveries with gas
  • Take sold inventory to make ready/prep center
  • Assist with off-site deliveries and presentations
  • Perform product presentations if Sales Consultant is unavailable
  • Transport cars to offsite locations (including for dealer trades)
  • Understand and implement the Park Place Sales Process
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the inventory
  • Maintainsa thorough knowledge of the product including: technical specifications, exterior color options, interior trim options, optional and standard equipment and competitive advantages
  • Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process and use the program to achieve client satisfaction
  • Know and understand the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies and adhere to all applicable requirements
  • Attend weekly department meetings
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company MVR policy requirements
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
