The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing a weekly payroll for specific platforms and/or specific dealerships. This includes working with dealership personnel to validate that payroll information is correct, proper review/approvals are received, payroll is processed in accordance with company policy and ensure all processing is compliant with key controls.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Set up new employees in UKG
• Ensure all proper documentation is received with each employee file
• Capture and validate payroll information from the dealerships
• Input payroll information into UKG
• Review payroll proofs and error validation reports
• Ensure proper approvals are received
• Work with the dealerships to resolve payroll issues and concerns
• Responds to questions from employees and resolves discrepancies
• Follows all defined payroll SOX controls as defined
• Adheres to organizational deadlines for payroll
• Practice continuous improvement
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned by your supervisor

Education & Experience

• Some Accounting and/or Payroll Experience Preferred
• Ad-hoc payroll reporting experience a plus
• UKG experience a plus
